In the 2010 final Dag Griffiths (Wings) ended his long wait for his first Mimir win, having appeared in four previous finals. He is pictured left having won the trophy for a second time in 2016. This was his eighth final. In 2023, appearing in his tenth final, he won it a third time. a record for a Southport & Formby based player. In 2024 he was runner-up in his eleventh appearance in the final.
