In 2005 Condottieri made it a hat-trick of wins in both the MQL premier competitions, namely the Feeny Cup and the MQL Challenge Cup. In 2004 the League Championship was regained from arch-rivals Wings and retained in 2005. In 2006 Condottieri had to be content with one major trophy when they won their fourth successive Feeny Cup Final.

The squad includes two other experienced quiz players - namely Bill Thomas and Chris Sumner. Bill has also played in the Liverpool and Northern leagues whilst Chris had played previously in the Southport (& Formby) League for both Formby Railway B and Victoria Sports.

The team had a highly successful first season, winning the second division with a 100% record and reaching three cup finals, winning two of them.
They also formed the backbone of the Southport & Formby 2 team which won the President's Shield.
They are pictured top right receiving the Division 2 Cup from Chair Sylvia Sawyer and bottom right receiving the MQL Plate from MQL Vice president Peter Deakin.

In their first season in Division One (2000-2001), they finished as runners-up. In cup competitions, they won the Don Standing Cup avenging their defeat at the hands of Zetland in the previous season and reached the final of MQL's Feeny Cup.

The team was considerably strengthened by the return of Ray Oakes in 2017 and they went onto win the Don Standing Cup Final and also reach the final of the Handicap Cup.

Casablanca won the 2008 Maurice Jefferies Plate win a comfortable victory over St Patrick's A - Pictured (l to r) are Bill Thomas, Harry Owen (Div 1 Sec making the presentation), David Dutton, Chris Sumner and Arthur Jones.
